“ This place is super cute. I've been waiting to try it for awhile. The lady at the front was super sweet. I've been to Puerto Rico so I was so happy to find this authentic restaurant. The bacalito looked and smelled like the ones you used to get in PR from street vendors. Unfortunately it was soooooo salty it was borderline inedible. Didnt soak it enough or added too much salt. Otherwise it would have been perfect. The pernil was so well made. One of the bests I have tasted but the salt was also so much. They need to look into that. I've seen other reviews complaining about salt. The rice was perfection. I'll be back to try other dishes. Hopefully the cook \ owner take this honest review in stride. ”
“ This time around I had the crispy chicken chunks, white rice, and red beans with tostones. This time around we had to make a reservation I think it's all the instagram and Facebook stories that it's crowded on weekends. The chicken was seasoned well and tasty, and crunchy. The rice was moist. The red beans was delicious. The beans had pieces of potatoes and pumpkin in it. The tostones were thin and crunchy. The waiter was very nice and friendly. The decoration and salsa music make you feel like you back in PR. I think bad bunny new album and the social media pictures is making this one of the best PR restaurants. ”
“ Visiting from VA. Tried this place out with my mom today after seeing it on tik tok. AMAZING food and service. The owner and team are very sweet. The place is really cute and colorful. Will deff be a regular spot to go to when I visit NY. ”
“ Absolutely amazing. Cannot say enough how amazing Kiosko 787 is. From the decore to the Ambiance n music. Can't even talk about the food was amazing. The Owner Al literally bought La Isla to Brooklyn and he did not miss at all. ”
“ AMAZING FOOD! Kind and attentive staff with a wonderful selection of Puerto Rican food. Beautiful exterior bringing La isla del encanto to nyc! Can't wait to go back soon and have the chicken mofongo again. ”
“ The food is decent. The bacalaitos are good, camarofongo could use more garlic sauce or salsa criolla, the bistec and onions were good. I think the acapurria de jueye (crab) hit or miss. I liked it, my companion didn't. The habichuelas were ok, I like mine better. There's room to grow but I appreciated a taste of PR. ”
“ I ordered through an app, would like to give 5 but I can't because I was dissatisfied with the price compared to the portion received. The price for a cup/appetizer of octopus salad, $19. Also, if tostones are added the price is $25. When a dish is advertised as a salad it the right amount of protein mixed with the "greens". On the other hand, Kiosk serves a Mofongo-Bacalaito fritter, recommended hands down. The delivery time was reasonable I am looking forward to visit Kiosk, the facade is super cute, with the "Old San Juan" vibe ”
